Food, clothing, hygiene kits, and street outreach for people on the streets of Derby.
Ministry to the Homeless · Derby
A compassionate outreach supporting individuals experiencing homelessness through practical care, emotional support, prayer, and pathways to restoration.
The Stranger Things Initiative is a compassionate outreach dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. We provide practical assistance, emotional support, and pathways to restoration—because every life matters.
Inspired by Matthew 25:35, where Jesus instructs us to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, and welcome the stranger, this ministry exists to demonstrate God’s love in practical and tangible ways.
On our streets, there are people who need to experience love, kindness, and dignity. Actions speak louder than words. As Christians, our words can appear empty if they are not supported by compassionate action.
Jesus reminds us that every time we reach out to someone in need, we are reaching out to Him.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”
Matthew 25:35
